“ Such a great "Hole in the Wall" breakfast atmosphere. Everything feels like a small town diner with a Chinese flair. Helen greeted us with a smile and was so personable the whole time. She teased my wife and I and made us feel like regulars the moment we sat down. She thanked us for eating local. The food was great, and very reasonably priced. She also knows the names and stories of most of the customers, which is just a sign of some top notch customer service. This is going to be a regular spot for us any time we visit Calgary for sure. ”
“ Quick: friendly, clean, no fuss food. Wide variety of food. Go support small local mom and pop shop! Long: Wow the staff are SO FRIENDLY. I got to witness their interactions with two sets of their regulars and it was such a genuine conversation between them. Clearly they work hard to keep positive interactions with their customers. The regulars seemed to like the place too. Upon settling my tab the (assume owner) lady chatted me up and she clocked that I wasn't a regular. Very friendly conversation, I enjoyed it. I ordered a small wonton soup, and a BLT with fries. I liked the size of the soup, it wasn't too large and the flavour was good. I didn't ask for brown bread (forgot) but the BLT came out on white bread and wasn't fussy. It was straight up and good. You get a hefty portion of the fries as well, almost too much for me lol. They have daily specials and the menu ranges from brunch to lunch items, both traditional western and world items. Parking is tight/odd angle but I was able to find a spot. There is no accessible door so it isn't immediately wheelchair or mobility aid friendly. Food was good, service was great, music was quiet. I would definitely come back. ”
“ Great Find . Popular with the locals . I'm also a local but I never heard of it until today . ( Shows how observant I am ) lol . The owner really values her customer and her service is exceptional. I love how she greets her customers by name... Further proving her admiration for her support. The menue offers Classic Breakfast items as well as 3 of their specialties. Eggs Benedict, A veggie Eggs Benedict as well as a lovely chorizo hash which is a bowl of crispy hash browns topped with sausage onion mushroom and covered in cheese and hollandaise sauce. They have nine different omelette options that include hash browns and toast. They also have a nice variety of salads and soups . For lunch they offer a great variety of unique sandwiches as well as the classics. The menu also offers Chinese foods stir fries and a nice variety of lunch and dinner favorites such as fish and chips pork chops and hamburger steak. And if I'm not mistaken I think they hand make their own dumplings , Spring rolls , And also wontons .which you can order bulk to go.. I also noticed on the menu they also do catering. For hours are Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.. Saturdays they are open from 9:00 a.m. Till 3:00 p.m. but are closed on Sundays. Anyways let's eat this delicious eggs benedict. ”

“ We really loved this cool brunch diner! Really amazing service and Helen was super friendly and welcoming. The food was extremely good and perfectly balanced, I was pleasantly surprised by the proportions. Great price and food with a great environment. Truly a hidden gem. She knew everyone’s name as most people here were regulars and I assume have been coming here for years or decades if not more. I would 10000% recommend this place. ”
“ I am visiting family and googled “breakfast places near me”. We decided to give this small owned restaurant a try instead of the usual chain restaurants, and we were not disappointed. It’s very clean. The owners are friendly and nice. The food was fantastic! We had breakfast and are thrilled it serves breakfast all day. We look forward to visiting here again and trying other food on their menu. A neighborhood little gem in a business area. Highly recommended! ”
